In June we enjoyed a wonderful week in Arizona with Linnea's parents at their "second" home! The weather was sunny and hot - and we enjoyed every moment of our time together!

Linnea's parents (known as Sabba & Safta to the grandkids) have a wonderful pool at their home, and we spent hours each day swimming and playing!
Owen loved having his life jacket (or his "shark" as he called it) which gave him some independence in the pool!
Ava thoroughly enjoyed her first real experience of playing in the pool. She loved the water and kept trying to "shake us off" as we held her...she wanted to go-for-it by herself! Soon, Ava, soon!
Arizona has some great water parks and activities! This aquatic center was located at the local high school and the kids had such a great time that we returned several times during the week!
In anticipation of our upcoming 10th wedding anniversary, Linnea's parents treated us with a night away! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner where we sat outside...and with weather well over 100 degrees, we were the ONLY people who sat outside! Hey, we're Oregonians - we enjoy the heat when we can!
We attempted a photo shoot in hopes of a good family picture. With two small children, this is no small undertaking! With Sabba as the photographer and Safta to keep the kids laughing & smiling, we got some good pictures! Great job, guys!
After plenty of time in the sun and pool, we also enjoyed lots of cozy time relaxing indoors.
Thank you Sabba & Safta for an amazing week! We can't wait to return again soon!
The kids were good airplane travelers. I love this photo of Owen...this is the life! And sweet Ava sleeping below. As she gets bigger and busier I sure treasure these snuggle opportunities!

Happy anniversary! Wow, ten years in the blink of an eye!! I remember that day well. So fun to spend a whole week with the Williams. Enjoy the rest of summer.
