5th Week Highlights

Owen's 5th Week! We were thrilled to see few smiles this week although we weren't quick enough to catch them on camera yet. Owen is still fairly unpredictable with his daily naps - but thankfully he is a good night sleeper, even giving us a 6.5 hour night this week! What a blessing! He is such a joy, and is growing and changing every day.

First Month

Our sweet Owen is 1-month old! We can hardly believe how fast this past month has gone. And at the same time...has it only been a month? :) Here are some highlight photos from Owen's first month!

Owen, 1-month old today! (May 30th)

Thank you to Grandma Julie (Linnea's mom) who stayed with us for Owen's first two weeks. She was such a huge help to all of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together! We felt so blessed to have her stay with us so long - helping us adjust to life with a newborn!

Seattle has been enjoying beautiful weather - so Owen has taken many wonderful walks during his first month!

Memorial Day Weekend

It was a beautiful holiday weekend in Seattle! We enjoyed summer-like weather, and Grandma Pam (Brian's mom) came to visit.

Cousins

Brian's sister Jenny, her husband Jamey and their daughter Remedios - 6 months ("Remy") drove up from Southern Oregon to meet Owen. Remy is Owen's first (and currently his only) cousin. It was so much fun to have the two cousins together, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Jenny and Jamey!

Owen's first weeks at home

Owen has been home for two and a half weeks and has settled in well. He is a good eater and sleeper and we are enjoying increasing amounts of "alert/awake" time. Owen is truly a joy!

Thank you to all of you who have come to visit him or have sent your well wishes. He is truly blessed to have such loving family and friends.

Welcome Baby Owen

With great joy we would like to introduce our new son:
Owen Clark Gaskins

Owen was born on April 30th at 9:15pm - weighing in at 5lbs 14oz and streatching 19inches long.

Everyone is healthy and doing well. We feel incredibly blessed! Here are some photos surrounding Owen's birth-day.
